What is the Community Support Card?

The community support card could raise funds for your local good cause for a year or until the target amount is reached. Everytime someone shops with us and uses their community support card The Southern Co-operative donates a cash sum to the fund.

The rules are simple, the good cause must be local and must be of benefit to the local community. Funds may be given to more than one good cause, for example if the panel feel that there are two causes that should benefit, it may divide the funds between them as they see fit. The panel is made up of members from the local community and members from our store team, so it's local people making the decision on how the fund will benefit the community.

Stores that currently do not run the community support card are also able to support local good causes, please pop into your local store and speak to the manager.
