Southern Co-op #LocalFlavours Hero Hampshire – Jude’s Ice Cream
It all began in 2002 in a Hampshire dairy barn in Twyford, Winchester. Jude’s Ice Cream founder started mixing and
churning delicious ice cream by hand, using milk from local cows. His creations were lip-smackingly good. So good,
he gave them his wife’s name, Jude, and the family joined in. He carried the first tubs across the field to the local
pub, and they went down a treat…
Today top chefs can’t get enough of their scoops and Jude’s Ice Cream has bagged over 40 Great Taste Awards for
their flavours. There’s no stopping them. Jude’s Ice Cream uses natural, great tasting ingredients in all their flavours.
Their milk comes from Matterley Farm, just four miles down the road and the sea salt in their moreish Salted
Caramel comes from Maldon in Essex. Jude’s Ice Cream is always experimenting with exciting new flavours and
collaborations. Their mission is to knock your socks off, every time.
“We’ve had the pleasure of supplying Southern Co-op for a number of years and have enjoyed seeing our sales grow
in our local stores. Southern Co-op have supported us from our launch into our first store and now stock a wide
range of flavours in their Hampshire stores.”
