18th July 2012 – Today, specialist disability, mobility and healthcare equipment provider BenefitsNow Shop rebrands as co-operative Mobility, the culmination of a number of strategic changes to the business following its acquisition in 2010 by co-operative Xest (the aids for daily living arm of The Southern Co-operative).
The decision to rebrand is part of the company’s ongoing plan to harness the values and long standing reputation of the parent company, The Southern Co-operative. Since acquisition, investment has been made in Co-operative Mobility to position its offering as The one-stop shop for the disability and mobility equipment needs of Private Trade, Public Health Organisations, Schools & Charities. Developments to date have included a new, easy-to-shop website, the appointment of a dedicated Business Development Manager for its large B2B customer base and more recently a move to larger, custom designed warehouse premises on the outskirts of Portsmouth.
Managing Director, Andrea Dipple commented: “I am thrilled to announce the rebranding of Benefitsnow Shop to co-operative Mobility. Today, more than ever, budgets are stretched and buyers are looking for excellent value for money when purchasing mobility & disability aids and other healthcare equipment. However, professional buyers also need to be assured that these are sourced from a supplier that they can trust and rely on. You will find all this and more from co-operative Mobility and our rebranding reinforces our reputation for value, service and professionalism.”
