Winner of our luxury ‘Local Flavours’ hamper in association with Hampshire Fare.

Congratulations to Susan Trimmer (pictured centre) from Basingstoke who won our ‘Local Flavours’ hamper worth over £100. The competition ran as part of this year’s Hampshire Food Festival.

Members visit Bookers Vineyard

Members from the West Sussex CCG attended a guided tour of Bookers Vineyard on Saturday 6th August. 

33 Members attended the guided tour of the vineyard, the state of the art winery, were given a lesson on wine tasting before enjoying a ploughman’s supper with local products.

Young people discover the ‘Consequences’

Teenagers in Portsmouth gave the audience plenty of food for thought as they put on a production about the consequences of criminal behaviour as part of an innovative new project created by The Southern Co-operative in partnership with the New Theatre Royal and youth organisations Catch22, Wessex Restorative Justice, Motiv8 and Respect Programme.

West Sussex Co-operative Community Group visit Levin Down

On the 20th August 14 members and 4 children from West Sussex Co-operative Community Group attended a guided tour of Levin Down. The group of member’s was accompanied by volunteer Ann, and Mark Anscombe of Sussex Wildlife Trust.
