Southern Co-op End of Life Services

Support, care and reassurance when it’s needed most

Southern Co-op has been providing care and support across the south for over 75 years, taking care of all aspects of funeral planning and arrangements in a sensitive and compassionate way.

Available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, we are there to guide you through the difficult decisions that need to be made, helping you every step of the way.

Our aim is to make funeral arrangements simple, clear and in accordance with your wishes. Whether you are at one of our funeral homes or in your own home, our experienced and professional funeral directors will take you through the wide range of options, helping you to personalise the service in a unique and fitting way.

Our funeral homes span Berkshire, Dorset, Hampshire, Isle of Wight, Surrey, Sussex and Wiltshire, where our colleagues live and work closely with the local community to deliver a best in class service.

Funeral Plans

A Southern Co-op Funeral Plan can provide peace of mind for you and your loved ones, reducing the burden and future cost of organising your funeral. The plan is pre-paid and inflation-proof, which is guaranteed to pay the bill for a specified funeral no matter how much it costs at the time of death.

The Co-operative Funeralcare is committed to helping you find security in the knowledge that you have taken care of everything relating to your funeral.

The Bereavement Centre

Our free and impartial advice centre offers emotional, practical and social support for the bereaved and their families. From friendship groups through to one-to-one counselling, the Bereavement Centre is available for the whole community for guidance through the bereavement process.

The Bereavement Centre also provides education and training through workshops and study days to aid those who provide support to others.

Havant Crematorium

The Oaks Crematorium

Our aim at The Oaks Crematorium, located in south east Hampshire, is to help the bereaved achieve a meaningful and personalised funeral. A celebration of a life well lived, rather than the death that has just occurred.

Opened in December 2013, The Oaks provides a space for all cultures, ages and beliefs. The building has been built to the highest environmental standards and the surrounding ancient semi-natural woodland and wildflower meadow within the grounds creates a tranquil, natural setting for the bereaved.
